Your access to WISE Term 1 will end at 9:00am on Friday 17 July 2026 (i.e. the last day of the school holidays). After this time you won't be able to update Term 1 attendance/makeup work in WISE. Rather, updates need to come to Mereana.
To help with the smooth closure of Term 1 in WISE:
From the beginning of June 2026, please tell your students and parents that any makeup work etc. for Term 1 needs to be with you by end of the term Friday 3 July 2026 for you to mark/confirm and update in WISE before Friday 17 July 2026.
If a student gives you makeup work late and you are satisfied it represents that student's reasonable effort in completing the makeup lesson, let Mereana know the makeup lessons completed and she'll update the student's records in WISE.

If you are spiritually prepared, you will be better able to hear and follow the guidance of the Spirit as you teach. The following activity can help you prepare spiritually. TEACHING TIP: Help learners recognize the Lord’s love, power, and mercy in their lives.
It is good to know about the Savior’s love, power, and mercy, but we also need to realize ways we have experienced them. Inviting students to reflect on personal experiences when they have seen the Lord’s love, power, and mercy can help them feel closer to Him. An example of how to do this can be found in Lesson 128: “Isaiah 61.” To learn more, see “Help learners recognize the Lord’s love, power, and mercy in their lives” (Teaching in the Savior’s Way [2022], 8).

TEACHING TIP: Create settings and opportunities for learners to be taught by the Holy Ghost.
When students consider their own experiences and personal feelings about gospel truths, they will be more likely to feel the Holy Ghost testify of the truths they are learning. For more on how the Savior did this, see “The Savior Provided Opportunities for People to Be Taught by the Holy Ghost” (Teaching in the Savior’s Way [2022], 17–18).

Closure of Term 2 in WISE
Your access to WISE will close at 9:00am on Tuesday 27th October 2026 as we need to close the Term to prepare for graduation. After this time you won't be able to update Term 2 attendance/makeup work in WISE. Rather, updates need to come to Mereana.
To help with the smooth closure of Term 2:
From the beginning of October 2026, please tell your students and parents that any makeup work etc. needs to be with you by end of the term Friday 23 October 2026 for you to mark/confirm and update in WISE before Tuesday 27 October 2026.
If a student gives you makeup work late and you are satisfied it represents that student's reasonable effort in completing the makeup lesson, let Mereana know the makeup lessons completed.
We will update the student's records in WISE to reflect the makeup work completed . However, while we will do our best, we cannot guarantee that we will have the capacity to update WISE in time for your Stake’s seminary graduation as we will be preparing final records, certificates and diplomas for seminary and institute graduations in multiple Stakes/Districts – hence our encouragement for you to advise students and parents to have all makeup work to you no later than Friday 23rd October 2026.
